The FX-85DE X is the successor of the popular FX-85DE Plus calculator. It has a high-resolution LC display with 192 x 63 px, i.e. four times as high as the well-known displays of the FX-DE Plus series. In addition, there is new hardware with a 4 times faster processor and doubled memory.The Casio FX-85DE X belongs to the Classwiz series – since 2015, CASIO has been addressing the digital needs of today’s generation of students with this series. They comply with school approval guidelines, which means students are allowed to use them to the same extent as the FX-DE PLUS models in lessons and exams.
The newly available QR code feature of the Casio FX-85DE X makes it possible to visualize results from the technical/scientific calculator using a smartphone or tablet. Here is a short video on how to use this feature in the classroom.
